Can actuator grease be replaced with ordinary bearing grease?
Not recommended. Actuators often contain plastic gears, rubber seals and metal teeth, requiring a dedicated grease that is compatible with plastics and rubbers and non-corrosive to electronic contacts. Ordinary bearing grease may attack plastics, contaminate contacts or add excessive damping.
